Just got back from a brilliant two week trip visiting friends in Boulder, Colorado and Ojai through to San Diego California via Joshua Tree and The Grand Canyon.
two days in Boulder with old friends from Unreasonable including a stunning hike to the Rocky Mountain National Park for some cold brews.
road biking; climbing up into the hills inland of Ojai until we ran out of water and were refreshed with delicious fresh orange juice from the pixie warehouse at the bottom.
yoga with Molly at Peak Power yoga.
surfing at C street on some boards lent to us by our good friend Chipper bro Bell who was retiring from 25 years on the front desk at Patagonia HQ in Ventura. and briefly meeting Yvon Chouinard was cool!
seeing the success of our friends sunglasses company Goodr going super well.
Joshua Tree National park. Spikey. warm. amazing climbing. went for a few walks scrambling up some killer rocks.
renting a van and driving 8 hours each way to see the deepest canyon on the planet. The best Christmas gift. such beauty, scale, magnitude, history, depth, colour. it was freezing though and snowed on Christmas - chilly to be cooking outside.
Back in Bristol to see in the New Year.
